Know your nodes!

World Lymphoma Awareness Day (the 15th September) is a global initiative to raise awareness of Lymphoma.

Your lymph nodes are a key part of your immune system that can be affected by a cancer called Lymphoma. Lymphoma is the 6th most common cancer in New Zealand. Every day, 2 people are diagnosed with Lymphoma in New Zealand.

Farmers - working with the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation to raise awareness throughout New Zealand.

Farmers with the help of 53,000 customers raised $226,180 in its first joint initiative with the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation

Farmers department stores nationwide joined forces with the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation to help over 10,000 New Zealanders currently living with blood cancers like leukaemia. Pru Etcheverry, Executive Director of the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation, said: "We have been overwhelmed by the response from New Zealanders to our cause. Never in our wildest dreams did we think this amount would be raised."
