"I came to work at Farmers about 13 years ago. I was a single mum and I needed to get back into the workforce. Since then I've been fortunate to be able to do every role in the store. I started off as a casual, worked in a number of departments, and from there moved onto a Trainee Management Programme. I've since held a number of management roles and been the Store Manager of Botany Downs, which is one of our largest stores. I'm now a National Visual Merchandiser."

"I had to get back into the workforce. I hadn't worked for 20 years, raising children, and I needed a job. I had never worked in retail before. I started as a part-time Merchandiser, within 18 months I was a Department Manager and now I'm a Store Manager."

"I have three sons, and when my youngest was seven I decided that it was time to get back into the workforce. I love clothes and I love people so Farmers worked really well for me."

"I was a mother for 16 years and when my youngest son started school I realised it was time for me to get back into the work force. I'd spent a couple of days following my eldest daughter around while she was applying for jobs and I kept thinking to myself 'maybe I could do this'. At my interview the manager and I sat down and worked out hours that would suit me as a mother and that would work in with the company. We came to a great agreement where both parties are very happy."
