Sales Consultant

Sales Consultants are based in departments such as nursery and small appliances where customers need help choosing their products. Sales Consultants explain product features and make recommendations based on each customer's unique needs.

One-on-one Sales Person

One-on-one Salespeople help customers select high value items for their home such as whiteware and furniture. They spend considerable time exploring each customer's needs, demonstrating options, and making product recommendations. These team members have exceptional communication and customer care skills. They are continually enhancing their product knowledge so that they always provide expert advice.

General Sales Person

General Sales People are often our customers first and final point of contact. They play an important role in building rapport and leaving long-lasting positive impressions with our customers. Friendly and enthusiastic, they help with answering general queries, providing product assistance, and processing sales.

"We spend more time with the customer than we would in a normal sales role. It's important to find out exactly what they're wanting so we can recommend the product perfect for them, and so they leave feeling good about their choice."

"As a One-on-one Sales Person, I sell expensive products such as electronics, whiteware, beds and furniture. I help my customers make the right choice, giving them as much information and support as possible while they select the products they are interested in. I enjoy working for Farmers for many reasons, but I especially like the opportunity to interact with people coming from different parts of the world. Getting to know people from different cultures while working is pretty exciting."

"When customers go home with big smiles on their face and they know they got what they came for - that is the most enjoyable thing for me."
