National Visual Merchandising

At a National Level the team determines how our stores should look. They then help stores achieve this look by providing direction and support and ensuring merchandising standards are consistently upheld.

Store Support

Store Support consists of Call Centre and Store Support Teams. Our Call Centre Representatives play a pivotal role in customer relations as they deal with a range of queries from customers and store team members. Our Store Support Team develops, maintains and monitors store systems and processes.

Property and Store Design

As one of New Zealand’s largest retailers, with over 60 sites nationwide, Property Management is a vital discipline. We strive to provide our customers with an exceptional shopping environment, which is why we are continually expanding and upgrading our stores, as well as opening new ones. Roles within the property team include facilities management, Property Management and store design.

Supply Chain

Three teams are involved in the movement of products from suppliers through to customers – International Logistics, Distribution centre and Supply Chain Planning.

International Logistics arrange the air and sea transport for imports through international borders and customs controls to our Distribution Centre where over 250,000 products are processed each week; that’s over 12 million products each year! Supply Chain Planning determines the time required, and workload needed, to process stock through the Distribution Centre; and volumes required to transport it to stores in order to meet delivery deadlines.

"I enjoy working for Farmers. I find them an exciting company. I find them extremely innovative. In the five years I’ve been here it’s changed, changed hugely."
